October 2014 - Studio Work
Shadows in the Sand was more of an introspective piece for me. In this scene there are shadows in the sand and they will be gone an instant later. That non-permanence 'moment' of experience disappeared before the next wave came in.
I was there watching it and as soon as I saw it..it was already in the past. I wanted to express in this piece that sometimes we sit in between the moments we wish to remember.
In between the darker moments and the moments we can not predict. Light..shadow..near or far.. we remain on the shore of it all.
