What an absolutely incredible showing of gorgeous artwork this past friday at the Magoski Arts Colony!
It was an honor to be able to show my work with several artists at 'Sacred Dew' this past friday.
The evening was truly a night beneath, amongst and inside the sea and stars.
Je Suis Ciel et Fleurs was a show I curated which showed a few of my plein air Brittany, France pieces and Laguna Beach works
as well as the work of 7 other artists.
The title of the show was really about bringing people together as one beneath the same sky.
We are all in the same place on planet earth, striving for understanding from our fellow man.
I thought... 'Why cant we look for the things we all see and in that unity perhaps we can have empathy for each other. .
perhaps we can see each other as we see ourselves..as living things..
as flowers beneath the sky..'
Both Shows continue through March 2015.
Was honored to be accepted into the Olaf Wieghorst Museum and Western Heritage Center
Landscape of the West II Show!
The grounds are just lovely and the original home of Olaf Wieghorst can be visited.
Below you will find some images of the grounds and one of my favorite Wieghorst pieces.
My work will be available to purchase and see at the museum through April.
Take a trip to the museum.
You will definitely encounter some wonderful western history!
